Aspire shop drawing process submission and review

A total of (0) Field meetings and (0) virtual meetings included. (design team and trades, avg 3hr meet)

Add/Alt: Field Visits/ meetings are $275.00 for the first hour and $175.00 for each following hour. 

Aspire Drafting's shop drawing process includes:  

One round architect and engineer review, two rounds coordination mark ups per (TYP) floor, as-builts based as per your field notes.

The two rounds of coordination markups applies only if 2d overlay coordination was bought out, otherwise if 3D coordination refer to your hour0bank allowance.

Add/Alt Plan revisions, addendums, sketches, bulletins will be $35.00 per page to review and compare when bubbled. (this cost gets offset if a change order is prompted)

Define Project specific exclusion :

General Exclusions and Statements: 

Aspire drafting will not be held responsible or liable for any piping installation that the engineer and architect have not approved. 

Drafting piping arrangements beyond the reasonably assumed pipe routes in the contract set.

Progress payments to be made as per the itemized list above.

all quotes and proposal are valid for 10 days only form the date indicated on the proposal.

Net 30 payment terms available for qualified customers.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all proposal are to be deemed as contracts and not as line items to be purchased separately.

 * One time setup fee, is an annual fee to uphold and maintain all provided cloud services.   

* Aspire Drafting  uses Navisworks and ACC cloud based tools to manage clashes, Your team of draftsmen might need to obtain licenses.   

* Retainer is based on a percentage of the total estimated hours this project will take to   coordinate. We cannot guarantee total hours.  

 * Actual Hours spent will be tracked and billed once a month.  

 * Your model will be as clash free, only as much as your assigned draftsmen work to clear the clashes and design to a level LOD 400.   

* Same trade clashes are excluded from clash detection.   

* We do not update   or make revisions to the architectural floor plans and RCP plans. Your design team needs to maintain these.   

* Any MEP Composites, must be implemented and maintained through XREF (We will not be circulating emails to gather data)   

* For all and any composite drawing creation, we only facilitate background creation and   tracking as required by project through XREF.  

 * We reserve the right to cancel this contract, if we find the "Other trade" drafting team you provided incapable or uncooperative.   

* "Other trade" drafting team means the companies or people assigned to draft/model works, other than Aspire Drafting's employees.   

* "Other trade" drafting team must be knowledgeable of their scope, professional,   communicative and adhere to the projects schedule.   

* "Other trade" drafting team must work throughout the week to clear obvious/ easy clashes and come to the meetings prepared to discuss the big issues only. Big issues, are considered issues that will require design team intervention.   

* "Other trade" drafting team must show a willingness to move there systems components, if it is obvious that it will benefit the whole, and resolve coordination issues.

* Scheduled weekly meeting cancelations need to be 3 days in advance. Otherwise we will charge for the potentially incurred hours.           

 * If you wish to pause the weekly coordination package, you must inform us 7 business days in advance of the next meeting.

 A pause lasting longer than one month, gives Aspire Drafting the right to forfeit the project and renegotiate.   

* Back -end hours consist of issue tracking and creation, model reviews, folder management, shop drawing submittal management and clash detections, Arch plan CAD folder updates, and arch and STRL model to NWC exports along with meeting preparation to name a few.   

* We will not be responsible for generating clashes for 2D developed overlay drawings, entire team must work within 3D framework.   

* The hours estimated above to complete this project is based on   our MEP experience in coordination from past projects, but it heavily depends on your drafting teams ability and design teams responsiveness which are out   of our control.                           

Project Specific Exclusions   

3D modeling of any sort, and for any trade outside of our agreed contract.

Unnecessary behind the scenes communications between your trade draftsmen. 

3D Architectural and structural model, along with its maintenance.   

Training your provided trade draftsmen to meet the demands of the BIM execution protocol.   

Generating same trade clashes. (For example: HVAC hits with HVAC or PLB hits with PLB)   

3D impromptu Model previews beyond the one reasonable assumed for the weekly meetings.

Aspire drafting will not be held responsible or liable for any MEP piping installation that   the engineer and architect have not approved.    

Field visits.   

Printing of plans.    

Contractual obligation for technologies (software and hardware) to be used, need to be   met by each trade at their own sole cost.      

Incremental Progress payments to be made as per the itemized list above.   

Account setup costs, 3D preliminary MDL & Retainer are Non-refundable (5) days after   signing. Due upon receipt.   

Itemized list is an estimation, and should not be considered an itemized list to be used to purchase a la carte.
